An amazing modernist Grand Designs curved glass home that gave its creator five heart bypasses has went up for sale for £3.4million.

The spectacular glass villa, known as ‘The Curve’, is nestled north of Brighton and boasts breathtaking views across the East Sussex countryside thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows throughout its five bedrooms. 

The Curve is a rare find on the UK property market, costing owner Barry Surtees £1.8million to build back in 2007, but he put it up for sale three years later to try and recoup some of the costs.

The new Burger King post-COVID restaurant designs are optimized to adapt to the reality of living in a pandemic and what will come after it, with expanded drive-thrus and pick-up lockers, among other changes.

Burger King unveiled its new restaurant designs in a press release on Thursday, Sept. 3. The innovative designs were created by a Restaurant Brands International in-house design group to fulfill changing customer demands due to the coronavirus pandemic. “When you’re working on a historic remodel, you don’t want it to look out of place in the home,” says Janelle Helms, a designer with Karr Bick Kitchen and Bath. 

In 2018, Helms and Karr Bick’s owner, Jenny Rausch, redesigned four bathrooms, including this master bath, and added a fifth to a historic Clayton home. The room’s long, narrow footprint guided the designers’ decision-making, inspiring them to get creative as they introduced modern amenities while delivering a timeless, spa-like aesthetic. 

At the homeowners’ request, Karr Bick added a wet area at the far end of the room, with a full-size soaking tub and dual showerheads. Large gray porcelain tiles line the walls, and white quartz was selected for the tub’s waterfall edge. Well, my new furniture set is finished, and again, i seem to time these right as milestone ‘gifts.’ Since that really isn’t the case because it takes me a while to put these together, this set and all future sets will be labelled as Custom Content Collections. This is my first bathroom, and was about time I actually made one. Little surprise its modern. My bathrooms are mostly modern as I love the tranquil feel it gives a small space.
