Mera Kitchen Free Community Meals Support

michael jhon

The Mera Kitchen Community Meals project is our effort to provide our favorite hot meals to those in need during these uncertain times. We started this project with a goal of serving 1,400 meals in a week. As of April 17, we have served over 10,500 meals to community members and frontline health workers. We continue to receive more requests each day. Thank you for allowing us to sustain these efforts.

All of our workers will be compensated, as we are trying to keep generating income for those who need it most.

Mera Kitchen Collective is a worker cooperative focused on the empowerment of Baltimore’s refugees and immigrants through food entrepreneurship. We exist to share our incredible food with members of our community. We believe that promoting equitable access to opportunities, building community, and providing living wages are the keys to long-term self-determination, independence, and happiness.

Graphics are basic – but once registered, the menu is simplicity itself. The six categories – including landscape, flower and vegetables, and water features – include over 150 objects. You can show/hide items you have placed, and save your design.

PROS: User-friendly, effortless interface; wide variety of features; provides templates; not time-limited.

CONS: Rather basic graphics; cannot upload a photo.

Marshalls Garden Visualiser

More sophisticated than many rivals, Marshalls Garden Visualiser tool is 3D, and allows you to upload a photo of your garden.

After setting your garden’s dimensions, you select from ranges of objects such as walls, hedges and fences. This tool is more about “hard landscaping” than plants, but a limited range can be added to your design.

Olive Garden is offering free to-go meals amid coronavirus outbreak

michael jhon

As more restaurants have been mandated to offer only takeout or delivery service amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Olive Garden is offering a new buy-one, get-one meal deal — and, in true never-ending style, customers are able to use it as many times as they like.

This is the first time in the restaurant’s history that a promotion is being offered solely as a takeout or delivery option.

Guests will be able to choose between several hot “Buy One” options, like the chain’s classic fettuccine Alfredo, cheese ravioli, lasagna or chicken Parmigiana. Then, they can select a “Take One” option (of equal or lesser value), which will be packaged up and chilled, ready to be popped in the freezer or fridge for a next-day meal. Orders can be placed online or by phone, and entrees start at $12.99.

The 10 Best Bathroom Remodelers Near Me (with Free Estimates)

michael jhon

No bathroom remodeling project is as satisfying as making over a clunky old shower by installing new shower heads, tearing out plastic and tiling the walls, and increasing your water pressure. The cost for a shower remodel really depends on your overall bathroom remodeling project. Nationally, the average cost of a total bathroom remodeling project is $14,000, including the cost of the shower remodel. For a standard bathroom renovation — including taking out the shower and shower pan and installing new shower pan and shower, new shower door, new vanity, new mirror, new bathroom fan, and all new fixtures — the average price might range from $6,500 to $10,000 for labor.

If you don’t need foundational work (like a new shower pan) but want a tile makeover in your shower, the average national cost for tiling a shower is $3,875. The average cost for bathroom tile is $25 per square

It’s spring and so even with all the stress and sorrow over the coronavirus pandemic, we look forward to precious holidays, buds and blooms.

How are you celebrating Passover and Easter this year? Are you going to gather with family and friends on Facebook, through Zoom?

Food writer Susan Barocas, who is joining us for the chat today, plans to that. And she offers a few variations on favorite Passover dishes, such as a vegetarian matzoh ball soup, a nut-free haroset and a delicious herby kuku, for a year that will be less than traditional

Even if you’re enjoying the meal with your small household, your brisket is a great idea because you can enjoy the leftovers throughout the holiday. Try Ellie Krieger’s terrifically tender recipe. Ellie also is joining us for the chat.

Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A bathroom (also known as a restroom, washroom, toilet or lavatory) is where people go for personal hygiene activities. This includes use of the toilet, wash their hands, brush their teeth, take a bath, or take a shower. The room may also contain a sink, often called a “wash basin”, “hair basin” or “hand basin” (in parts of the United States) and often a “lavatory.” In the United States, “bathroom” mostly means “a room containing a lavatory.” In other countries this is mostly called the “toilet”. The word “bathroom” is also used in the United States for a public toilet or “restroom.” Bathrooms also have bathroom cabinets.

Baths go back to 3,000 B.C. Usually, a town would have a special building for people to take baths, which sometimes were part of a religious ceremony. Starting in the 16th century, public baths started declining. People at this time
