Honestly, the words ‘shabby chic living rooms’ sends a bit of a shiver down our spines. We are picturing ‘distressed’ furniture (basically a shoddy paint job) a sickly mix of pastels and doilies covering every surface. Buuut it would seem that shabby chic is in fact back, and it’s had a bit of a glow up, shedding it’s doily skin and becoming a really stylish look that we actually want in on.

Who doesn’t love antique lawn and garden tractors? There are big advantages to these smaller collectible antique tractors. Some will fit in the back of a pick up truck. They can be stored in the garage, they don’t take up a lot of space and although my husband Keith won’t appreciate this, they are just plain cute! COVID-19 is causing tractor show cancellations. So, I thought a visual antique lawn and garden tractor show might be just the thing!

Edmonton Home + Garden Show | March 19-22, 2020

Official Statement:

Monday, March 16, 2020 — Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Marketplace Events has cancelled 10 events, including the Edmonton Home + Garden Show, and postponed five other shows originally scheduled to
take place between March 13 to April 19, 2020.

Unless prohibited by public health authorities, Marketplace Events will run their fall 2020 shows and full roster of 75 shows scheduled for 2021.

As with previous cancellations since the company’s inception in 2008, Marketplace Events will apply exhibitor payments to future shows, not refund exhibitor payments. For consumers who already purchased tickets to attend one of the
15 shows, Marketplace Events is offering options to use tickets for any other show in the market produced by the company in 2020 or 2021, donating the cost of their ticket to Habitat for Humanity or receiving a refund. To donate or receive a refund,
consumers should complete this form.
